Description
For the implementation of surface styles within the IFC2x3 extended coordination view the following agreements and limitations are made:
- The IfcSurfaceStyle is supported (agreement about Side still be be made)
- The Styles shall be of type IfcSurfaceStyleShading (and subtype IfcSurfaceStyleRendering) only, IfcSurfaceStyleLighting, IfcSurfaceStyleRefraction, IfcSurfaceStyleWithTextures, and IfcExternallyDefinedSurfaceStyle are not supported.
- For IfcSurfaceStyleShading the SurfaceColour is supported, for IfcSurfaceStyleRendering also DiffuseColour and Transparency. Other surface colour components may be exported, but are not required for import.
