A selection of test cases is published here. Implementers and users can access these test cases to get familiar with IFC and IFC implementations. In particular, implementers can validate their IFC compliant tools.

These test cases are unit test cases, i.e. small example files that concentrate on certain aspects of the IFC model. Due to its limited size they are ideal for debugging.

For more rigit tested the IAI strongly recommends the IFC certification program. Companies that subscribe the certification program get access to far more complete sets of test cases and to an active discussion and quality control forum.
