ISG and other IAI-groups are using the Groove-Technology for running virtual workspaces. Here you'll find:

• Many other active IFC software implementers, especailly the most active ones, and you can get in contact with them and share your and their experience
• Discussion forum to clarify technical questions and issues
• Many testfiles, produced my the members of these workspaces
• The latest releases of the IFC-model including previews to the future releases
• The latest releases of implementer giudelines
• The latest releases of View Definitions
• Links to helpful testing tools and IFC viewers
• Meetings

There are several virtual Worksapces available:

• ISG Workspace 2006 (re-started in Jan 2006)
  • For all implementer's issues of common interes
  • The former "ISG Workspace" ended in December 2005
• ISG - IFC2x3 Certification
  • For the preparation of certifications based on IFC2x3
  • Access to this workspace is restricted to IAI-members, who registered for certification or at least paid the fee to get access to the test files in this space. Details on the certification and fees for registration see here >>> 
• IAI BuildingService
  • For all building-service specific issues
• IAI Structural
  • For all structural specific issues
• IAI Demo
  • The idea is to share any material there, which is useful to be used in demos, PowerPoints, ...
  • This is not very active, at the moment

  • Was setup especially to support the certification of building codes in Singapore based on IFC2x2
